Why I Do This Work...
I came to short-term rentals with an investor’s mindset and an operator’s experience. Before building a boutique vacation rental company in Oregon wine country, my background was rooted in real estate investing and evaluating properties based on performance, risk, and long-term viability — not just aesthetics or hype. That lens shaped how I approached short-term rentals from the very beginning.
I built and co-led a successful boutique vacation rental management business from the ground up, working closely with homeowners and investors to price strategically, improve performance, and navigate changing market conditions. I’ve lived the realities behind the spreadsheets: seasonality, pacing pressure, owner expectations, and the impact that small pricing decisions can have on real returns.
After selling our portfolio, I now focus on revenue management for managers, investors, and owners who want clear, honest answers. My work is grounded in real data, market context, and lived operational experience — helping clients understand not just what a property could do, but what it’s likely to do in the real world.
